About

Will Halas is a Producer & Development Executive based out of Los Angeles.  He is Vice President of Emmy Award-winning Executive Producer/Director Michael Dinner’s production company, Rooney McP Productions, under a deal with FX Productions.

Will is a Co-Producer on the FX limited series Justified: City Primeval and was an Associate Producer on the Amazon Prime TV shows Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams and Sneaky Pete. For all three shows, he also directed second unit and inserts.

His short film, The Crop - a 15-minute moody thriller starring Jere Burns and Jamie McShane - played the festival circuit and had a premiere at Creative Artists Agency.

Will enjoys exploring new cities and neighborhoods, camera in-hand.  No stranger to a good cocktail bar, he currently is developing his own half-jokey, postmodern hi-fi cocktail bar, Club 1824, illicitly run out of his small Santa Monica apartment.

Will got his start in the TV industry as the Post Production Coordinator on the 2nd season of the FX series Justified and the FX pilot Powers, before working for Michael Dinner on shows like FX's Justified, Showtime's Masters of Sex, and Netflix's Unbelievable.

Will attended and graduated with High Honors from Rochester Institute of Technology’s film school, and dedicated his adolescence to hurling his body down stairs on his skateboard.
